At JsTutoringSD, I aim to help students that may have suffered a gap year this pandemic, or are struggling to be at the level they need to be at. I specialize in Language Arts: reading comprehension, parts of speech, sentence structure and writing compositions. My target age groups are 5th - 10th grade levels. About Me
I earned my teaching credential  from Whittier College in 2003.  My area of expertise is in the Language Arts including grammar, parts of speech, reading comprehension and writing compositions. I taught for almost 10 years at the junior high and high school levels before my son was born.   Becoming a parent, teaching never stops.  I have continued to work with kids over the years by coaching soccer and volunteering at the schools.  I would like to share my strengths on an individualized learning curriculum.  I am willing to help the parents that have chosen to home school with their Language Arts lesson as well.
